i did it in the past with my mom and it was great. we were home by 11 am and had all of our shopping done and had gotten great deals.
this year FH and I are going away the weekend after thanksgiving so no shopping for meee.

you gotta be there way earlier than 4 am. I went at 11:30 pm on thanksgiving to best buy and i missed out on the tv and the laptop.

I'm only looking for one item, and it's something I can get at Staples. I already saw their BF ads so I know what I'm zeroing in on...I don't think Staples will have the madness and chaos that other stores will have. I'll be there when they open.

i have never done that & i plan on never doing it. more power to those who can do it.
FH & I host thanksgiving so the only thing going on after an entire day of cooking & cleaning is sleeping & lots of it. our black Friday is waking up at 11AM & reminiscing about the day before & planning out the next couple of weeks.

we went to deer park and got there around 11pm, it wasn't crazy until about 15min before....the only two stores that had HUGE lines were juicy and banana republic
