Re: Black Friday
i used to love going. I was never waiting in lines super early, we'd go around 7am just for clothes and crap, but then 2 years ago i got in a fight with some crazy lady bc she stole my chair in the food court. After that, I was so turned off

Re: Black Friday
I went 2 years ago, when my FH and I had just moved into our apartment and he had his heart set on a big TV.
Long story short... we got there at 2 am, it was freezing, tons of people, got to the front of the story (Circuit City in College Point) at 5 am, there was a stampede and chaos, the store people were screaming at everyone, I sent FH ahead (screaming 'goooo' like in slow motion, and he just took off running) bc I was stuck in a group of people like, actually suspended in the air in between them and I didn't want to not get the tv after all that... so I got in like an hour later, he purchased the TV but couldn't take it because they said people would steal it out of our arms outside, so we went home, I vomited outside of my building, went to sleep at like 830 am, woke up at 630 pm and went back and picked it up. It was a horrible experience but he got his tv, lol. Best part was, we got a home theatre surround sound thing while we were there that was half price, but someone stole it from the stock room (either a worker or who knows) and I got in a big fight with the manager because he didn't seem to give a crap and gave me some crappier version of the same thing. They went out of business soon after so I couldn't come back to get a better one like the guy promised if I wasn't satisfied (which I'm not). But that's my black friday story and no, I won't ever go to a black friday sale again.

Re: Black Friday
I've always gone shopping that day, but honestly I can find the same deals that Sat or Sun. Plus, I only go for presents not big ticket items like tvs and stuff. This year I'm just gonna wait and go on Saturday.

I'll be at Macy's at 5am Black Friday. Not for shopping though. I'll be working and because of the mess.

Re: Black Friday
I can't shop like that lol. I need my space and to be able to take my time. I can't deal with waiting on lines...inside or outside the stores. More power to you girls! GL!

Re: Black Friday
I have done online black friday shopping (amazon has deals). I worked at the outlets one year on black friday and most of the sales were the same as during the week.
