I am doing black tie PREFERRED and PROUD OF IT - there is absolutely nothing wrong with this - it is 100% proper ettiquette to ask guests to ear certain attire to your party.

Posted by MarcellaBella please don't lie to myself? about what? you being too much of a coward to direct your thread to me and instead make up some stupid story about how you received some invite that read 'Black tie Preferred'
You admitted in a FORUM MAIL you sent to me that the thread was directed to me..
and I wasn't the only one who disagreed with what you posted.. there were several other LADIES on this board who thought you were WAY out of line...
i did receive an invitation that said Black Tie Preferred and I made mention of that several times throughout the thread I started - i dont need to prove that to you
i admitted on HERE (and in forum mail) that your thread served as a catalyst for my thread
and i never said you were the only one who attacked me
i have no clue who you are so why feel the need to only attack you - I was attacking the concept and I was ALWAYS very clear about that and never blasted you for that - you really must be eaten alive by all those socialite inlaws you have to feel this paranoid to think everyone is out to get you.
get over yourself - you're very self-centered
I'm very self-centered..HA! You make me laugh soo hard at how pathetic you are.. lol and you shouldn't be so harsh at other people merely b/c they lead a dif kind of lifestyle than you do..
