Blocking hotel rooms in NYC

Has anyone done this and if so, where and for how much? Thanks!

We got rooms at the Super 8 ( it is better then it sounds) in Mid-town. The cost was Single $123.69 and double $133.91. Our wedding is on a holiday weekend so alot of places were already booked. Plus, stuff in midtown for a resonable price just books quickly.

OOh the super8 on 46th (or is that 45th, I always get confused)???

If so I work right (literally) across the street from that. It seems really classy inside. Definately close to a lot.
