blusher down or up?

If you are wearing a blusher... are you putting it up.. or leaving it down throughout the ceremony?

My brothers are walking me down the aisle so not technically 'giving me away' - I would feel weird with a blusher on in this case. Plus every Catholic wedding (thats my religion) I've been to, the blusher has been up.

Edited to say, of course it's your choice, and either way would obviously be appropriate. Going back to 'you're the bride, do whatever makes you happy!'

I would feel more comfortable with it up out of my face, though that day I may be a bit nervous and my want to hide behind it.

My mom said down is jewish.. up is christian.. but I wanted my FH to lift it for the kiss...

My blusher is going to be up after my father and mother kiss me and hand me over to FH.It will be down walking down the aisle.

I left it down until my husband kissed me. I think it made for a sweet moment.

I am torn on this. This is my grand entrance and I want to be fabulous!!!! My guests will not get to see me all of my radiance at that moment with the blusher down.

I will walk down the aisle with the blusher down, and once my dad 'gives me away' he wil put it back.

I wil walk down the isle with it down the my father will left it off my face...It will stay like that for the whole ceremony...I don't want it covering my face

I had down for the walk down the aisle, then my dad lifted it off my face and it stayed up after that.

im so confused with this too. I wasn't going to have a blusher at all, but I casually mentioned to FH and he seemed disappointed! now I just don't know!
