Ok, this might seem like a silly question... But im the first one out of all my friends to be getting married, and my BM's are asking me what thier duties are and i don't know what to tell them! What exactly is the BM and MOH supposed to do?

just be there and support you... go shopping with get ideas from take to vendors if you want
they give you your shower or help if family is paying

on the actual day, they might hold your boquet during ceremony, adjust your train, help you bustle your gown, etc.
