Don't know if you remember a couple of months ago there was drama with my cousins and its been ongoing since. My cousin sent me a myspace message to come in on Saturday to get her dress... Then I never heard from her (its her and her 2 sisters). I'm done trying and if I dont hear back from them I dont want them in it.
What do you guys think of this email to my cousin:
You know Kate, I waited around for you yesterday. I could've worked but I told my boss that I couldn't. If something came up, you could've had the decency to call me instead of making a fool out of me. I need you guys to come in Saturday. After this weekend, I'm not free for another weekend for a while. If you can't come in, let me know. But I feel that you guys want nothing to do with the wedding. I dont know if you guys feel akward given the family situation, but with 7 months til the wedding, I dont need the extra stress of not knowing what is going on with you guys. If I dont hear back from you by tomorrow, I take it that none of you want to be in it. I've been making efforts this entire time regarding your dresses and trying to keep communication open between the families. No one replies to my text messages anymore or phone calls, and I'm tired of being made a fool of. I'm done trying after this.

Oh and I called one the cousin I am 'closer to' because she texted me asking to call, and then she doesnt answer or call back... so how am i supposed to take that

Ok a lil update. We've emailed eachother back and forth all day long. She kept bringing up old crap and cursing me out. While I not once cursed and at times even agreed with her... But after her last email in which she totally disrespected my mom and talked crap about her, I am no longer replying and am not making any more efforts.

ughhh she cursed you out? I'm so sorry thats uncalled for- you tried to meet her halfway & she obviously has a lot of unresolved anger issues. Sorry that she is putting you through this- I hope someday she comes to her senses

I'm sorry Meg but she was WAY out of line for saying those things about your mother (THEIR OWN AUNT!!!!!). She stepped WAY over her bounds and at this point she should feel lucky to be invited as a guest!

i remember this story I am so sorry you even have to deal with all that crap- seems like she has so many other issues going on in her life and she is using you to leash out her anger the best response sometimes is no response

I know... My mom was so hurt. She started crying but at the same time wanted to call and curse her out... I relly felt like writing back and defending her.. but I'm done with the nonsense. She really deserves to more replies. Nicole actually just called me and I didnt answer.

sorry to hear you have all this drama!
i had a similar situation where a BM was being completely flaky - she wouldn't even read and of my emails - she would just delete them!
anyway, if you want to take the high road, you can say something like, 'i still want you to be a part of my wedding party, but at some point, i will need a higher level of commitment, especially as the day comes closer. If you can't commit or feel uncomfortable, please let me know...'
then at least you give them the option (even though it sounds like it says no) without having to fire them....

I am so sorry your mom was hit in the cross fire. We all have drama queens. You don't need the stress. It will get better because you are going to have a beautiful wedding.

You have made more than an effort. Their behavior speaks volumes. If you had any doubts, to get to the point where they are bad mouthing your mother, that should help you in your decision. It has to be a relief to you to not worry about it anymore...it will be a lot less stress.
