Are you guys going for floor length, knee length, etc for your BM dresses?
I originally wanted a little above the knee since it's a spring wedding, but my BM's vary a lot in height, which means that some are going to wear flip flops while others are wearing 4' heels... and I feel like that will look weird..
So I was thinking of covering that up using floor length dresses... but would that look weird for a spring wedding?

Re: BM Dress Length
it wouldn't look weird at all. I'm having a summer wedding with full-length BM dresses

Re: BM Dress Length
Ive been to many weddings where BM's wore floor length at various times during the year.
Floor length can be very elegant. I say go for it

I am doing the same. I am having a daytime summer wedding and felt it was a bit more casual.

Re: BM Dress Length
I don't think that floor length would look weird for a spring wedding. You can wear them any time of year. I chose tea-length but that was more based on the styles I liked than anything else ;)

Re: BM Dress Length
To me, it depends on your color rather than season. Warm colored dresses always look prettier long and flowy in my eyes, while bright sunny dresses look better short and in a stiffer material like tafetta or something

Re: BM Dress Length
I'm having a summer wedding with long floor-length flowy bridesmaid dresses.
I wore knee length in a strapless dress for a spring wedding as a bridesmaid and felt uncomfortable, I would have preferred it to be longer.

Re: BM Dress Length
floor length is classic. doesn't matter time of year or time of day.

Re: BM Dress Length
We're doing full length...love the look and honestly, I didn't want the BMs to spend even more money on shoes that match. With FL, no one will see them.

I'm your date twin, only a year before! My girls are wearing floor length chiffon dresses. That way they can wear any shoes they want, but the chiffon is still nice and light

Re: BM Dress Length
I'm having a spring wedding, and I think I'm going for floor length. 3 of my BMs are trying to get preggers now and in the upcoming months, so they will either be pregnant or post baby. I think they might be more comfortable covering up their swollen ankles and their bellies in an empire waist floor length gown. And they can cover their more comfy and less cute shoes too! It's not so hot in the spring, they will be comfortable!

I was actually thinking of having a chiffon dress since it's lighter and will work nice with the weather...
do you happen to have any pictures that you can share of the BM dresses? I need ideas!
