I'm debating about a bridesmaid dress. What would you guys say is the average cost of a bridesmaid dress plus alterations? I'm trying to think of what I have paid.

Judging only on the dresses I have worn, I would say $250.

IMO I think anything over $200 is too much for a dress they will wear once....My girls paid $100

I went with my MOH today 2 look a dresses. Dresses vary from $160-260 w/o alterations.

The dress I'm looking at is expensive but it's cool because they might be able to wear it again...
i'm thinking of using David's Bridal for the dresses and i think the ones we're thinking of are $105 without alterations. i'm not picky about their dresses and i don't want them to have to spend a lot!

my girls ordered their dresses today. theyre alfred angelo seperates and they cost $130 (moh) and 140 (bms)
although it's 268 (without any discounts and I think I may be able to get one) there are no alterations needed.

Looks really nice. I am sure you can get a discount. My freind picked BM dresses from Cashe. We ordered 6 or 7 and they gave 15% off. I think with 15-20% off its a decent price but it of course depends on what ur bms can afford.

150-220 alterations around 65. My BM dressed which are Bill Levkoff are 170.00 and alterations 65.00.

My bm dresses were originally almost three but the max I want the girls to pay is 200.00
