I'm starting to shop for jewelry for my bridesmaids. I'm on a budget because I have 6 girls to shop for. Where did you ladies buy your BM's jewelry? Would it be tacky to buy from Claire's? TIA!!

It may be a stretch because it is an up-and-coming company with very few locations and a bad website BUT-- I recently went to a store called 'Charming Charlie' in Albany (I live upstate). They have a few locations though I dont think any on LI so I dont know how often you travel. Anyway, it was Claire's for grown ups. It was like jewelry heaven! In fact, I went to their fancier section and found a pearl/rhinestone headband that I was crazy over for my headpiece for the wedding. I took it to the register and it was $6! I know that might sound cheap for something I will wear on my wedding day, but I had no idea it would be that inexpensive, and I do love to save $$. Anyway, if you travel (I believe there are locations in Yonkers and NJ) it might be worth a look. They had jewelry, hair accessories, purses, and shoes.
