I'm at the point where I think I may tell them... 'just wear anything non-gold'
Will it look weird if some have necklaces and some don't?

I don't think it will look weird at all. You may want to be more specific if you are really concerned about what they might decide to wear.

I think if you want them to all wear the same thing it kind of has to be their gift, otherwise I would give them some direction but don't expect them to all match perfectly. I don't think that would look bad though.

I let my girls wear what they wanted to wear just not yellow gold...it worked out and I think it makes it much easier on them too!

I told mine to wear whatever they wanted.... do their hair however they wanted... whatever shoes as long as they were silver.. its nice to let them be able to show their style instead of all looking like clones

i gave them earrings as their gifts because im not a fan of big chunky necklaces or anything like that...they all wore just their earrings with the exception of one who decided to wear a thick chunky watch (grr) lol As for everything else...hair, makeup, shoes, that was all up to them!

I agree with both sides. I think you can either say please wear white gold or silver, no yellow-gold, or tell them not to wear anything at all. If you want them all in the same exact jewelry though, it needs to be part of their gift.

ITA!!!!! My girls were given the freedom to wear whatever dresses they wanted as long as it was Bill Levkoff Euro Red and they were completely on their own with hair and accessories.

I prefer when BMs are not so matchy-matchy.
I am having them pick their own dresses (same fabric, designer, color), and wear whatever shoes and jewelry and hair they want.

I think it's fine if they have different jewelry.
the bm dresses creates the unity for them. you don't need duplicate girls down to each detail. i always like a little style thrown into the mix. Maybe it's because I went to catholic school and wore a uniform..... although everyone wore the same uniform they wore it differently. It makes it fun.
Originally I was going to buy them different necklaces that suits each personality.... but then i found such a unique necklace that I had to get the same for each girl.
I think if you want to give them some direction... like gold... silver....etc.... that would work best.
Don't stress their necklaces. Its such a minute detail that NO ONE will be paying any attention to. I promise!!!!

I let my girls wear whatever they wanted (aside from the dress) so they chose shoes and jewelry and hair. . I did pay for there hair and make-up so it was all done but the jewlery all ended up looking great!

I actually purchased my girls crystal earrings and bracelets. Some of them wore them and others didn't which was fine. I didn't care really what they wore as long as it wasn't tacky.

I bought my girls jewelry...just earrings and a bracelet because of the bow on their neckline. It went with the dress in color and I didn't think a necklace would look good with the dress. I think they'll all wear it.

My girls wore different dresses so i had them wear the same jewelry so it can at least look somewhat uniformed. If your girls have the same dresses then different jewelry would look fine as well.
