How are people deciding on the color of their BM shoes?

It depends on the color and style of the dress....

My girls are wearing tea lenth dresses in celedon green with a pink ribbon at the waist. I'm asking them to get pink shoes, so that it will pick up on the color of the ribbon. Their flowers will also be pink.

I think silver shoes go nicely with shades of purple or pink. Bronze or gold shoes go nicely with brown shades. Matching the color of the dress is always an option too, but sometimes it is nice if your bm's can get shoes that they will be able to wear again. Kind of a matter of what you and your girls like.

Their dresses will be a lilac color, so i'm just telling them to get silver shoes. I figured if I made them dye shoes they wouldn't be able to wear the shoes again... and since the dress is long i'm letting them get whatever shoes they want.

I'm not being a Bridezilla at all... but if they don't get their butts to the bridal shop soon to order their dresses that might change very quickly!!

my girls are wearing celadon green floor length dresses. I told them to buy a silver show that they could wear again to another event. Since the dress is long no one will really see the shoe.

my girls are wearing 'truffle', a nice dark brown satin, and i told them they can do brown, bronze or gold.
at least with bronze or gold you will most likely get a lot of use out of them.

It's true that it would be nice if they can wear the shoes again! Although I was once told that no matter what color they get them if they're dyed, they can be dyed black in the end (which goes with almost everything)

Can you post a pic of your bm dresses and then maybe do a poll on what color shoes posters think would go best with that particular dress?

well, the BM dress is tea length and b/c of that i just kinda thought it would look nice if they were all the same color...dyed to match...as far as type of shoe...i dont care as long as everyone is comfy

My girls dresses are aqua blue floor length. I asked them to get any open toe ivory shoes they were comfortable in.

I had a nightmare experience in getting shoes dyed myself so my girls a wearing silver.

I'm asking them to dye their shoes to match the dress. They can pick any style shoe they want though.

it really depends on the color and style of the dress..i like silver with most colors, i don't really like the look of dyed shoes...it blends in too much with the dress
