BM tip

I was just wondering. After tipping the maitre'd and the waitstaff and the bridal attendant.....

What should you tip the Banquet Manager??

We're not tipping the BM- just the Maitre D' and bridal attendant- the waitstaff gets tipped out of the service fee we are charged we were told by our hall. hth

Our hall told us the service fee is for the salaries.
They told us that the tip we give to the maitre'd will be split with the waitstaff?????

not all halls work the same- i just know that ours operates that way- but there really is no need to tip the bm unless they do something extraordinary- I think they even make a commission from booking events/weddings

I used to be a waitress at Crest Hollow and I never got any tips. NEVER. (It was a short lived job, but still!)

They don't hand that out to anyone. The waitstaff gets like a straight $8-$10 an hour, its not like normal waiters and waitresses.

That being said - I'm not tipping the BM, just the Maitre D', the bridal attendant and the bartender (because we don't want a tip cup out)
