BM VENT

Went yesterday to the store with a few of the bm and picked out a dress they all liked, . Took BF to store this morning, she is a big girl so I wanted her to be comfy in the dress, well immediatkey she hated it, so we tried on other dresses, the next thing I know she is telling me to change the colors to match exactly to the flowers, and the style of dress! (We are having black and white, she wanted pink or coral!!!!) Then her sister walked out of the store in a huff,she was like I just do not like the dress, I was willing to compromise but I am the bride here, not her! So, I was talking to FMIL and she said make her the moh so she can pick out her own dress, and originally I was thinkng of asking her anyway that way she can wear a dress I like with my approval,now the problem is the other 4 Bm do not like her.( Big argument from years ago and they all held a grudge against her) , and my sister who is the matron of honor is acting up , WHAT A MESS!!!!!!

I agree with Olga and if she can't do as you want than ask her to step down. JMO!

As you said you are the bride!! Stand your ground. The same thing happened whenwe went with my BF for her wedding. The one thing she new she wanted was a ceratin color. Then the other girls were tring to change the color. I was like UMMMM NO this is what BF wants. Then they picked yucky dresses. Finally the decision was what the BRIDE wanted all along.

i think that whenever someone get married, the bm's who aren't already married seem to turn into jealous *itches. it really shouldn't be that way. they should support you in whatever you choose. i believe that if you want me to wear a garbage bag i will cause it's your day. try not to let them upset you and stand firmly. this should be your vision not theirs

Oh, well. Too bad. It's not their decision. It's yours. Stand your ground. Not everyone is going to love the dress.
