JMO..if she gives you more resistance on things you need support on, I would ask her if she is really available to be your BM. Explain that you think she may have felt obligated to say yes and that you are giving her a way out if she wants one. Put it on her, but don't stir up more drama. Additionally, if she put a deposit on her dress for your wedding already, then maybe you should offer to reimburse her. Hopefully you can find a replacement approx. the same size or smaller. Either way, if you want her out, which it sounds like you do, than be creative, but nice. Don't cause more stress for yourself... by allowing her to be difficult. tell her you need someone more 'present' and if she can't be, then you totally understand if she wants out. Just try not to burn the bridge.... ya know? If you can be nice, and in different...

We didn't do any bridal party get togethers, not even one. I don't mean this to sound mean, but I have been in a number of weddings, and I probably wouldn't want to have to go to get togethers for the bridal party. It's such a commitment to be in a wedding, especially for women - the showers, bachelorettes, etc.
If you want her out, definitely kick her out, but just think of what you are asking of your friends.
Just my opinion.

Re: BM VENT
It was hard for me to coordinate 3 BM's to go dress shopping so I can't imagine arranging an entire bridal party get together, besides the rehearsal and wedding of course. If she cant come and everyone else can then she will lose out on meeting everyone ahead of time. It sounds like you are looking for a reason to kick her out and if thats the case just kick her out.

I have one rule...people who are not their for me and FH will be out of the wedding, If she doesn't bother to come to the second meeting, then i would not include her in your wedding party. She is suppose to be helping you and making YOUR wedding an enjoyable experience. Good luck!!

I'm sorry you're having an issue with one BM! But I do like that idea of having a get together with the bridal party. I'm in a friend's wedding this coming March and I only met them briefly at the engagement party and I don't think I was every even introduced to the guys.

Re: BM VENT
I think you are being to hard on her. If every sunday is a family day for her, well family comes first at least for me. I could see if it was something major like dress shopping, but for a last minute bridal party get together... and as for you intentionally making it on a sunday, it seems like you are just looking to cause more drama.

I would make the next BP meeting whatever day you damn feel like it. It's your wedding! If Sunday is the day that the majority of your BP can meet up, then that's the day you pick. If her priority is sleeping till noon and running errands with her parents then she probably shouldnt be in your BP. Sounds to me like she is extremely immature. Maybe talk to her one on one and tell her how you feel.
