Bo-K Prices

Original post by leese

How much did you pay for your BMaids Bo-k's and what did you have?

Be honest, is there anyway to get a lower bo-k quote than 45 bucks?

I'd realllly like to spend about 30. Any flowers you can think of? I seriously got quoted 45 for tulips...I can't think of anything else that may be cheaper.

I'm trying to cut corners on EVERYTHING! A lot of silk flowers look beautiful. I went and bough out a bunch of Autumn flowers last year so I could stock up. Also, flowers that are in season tend to be a lot cheaper than those that aren't. Look here for an article on do it yourself bouquets that I had bookmarked from The Knot a while ago. DIY BoK

ooh! I had a thought! I have seen BMs each carry one long stemmed flower & that looks really pretty.
Maybe you could do that?

We did this for my sister's wedding and it looked very elegant.

What kind of flower did you use? Do you have pics? I am looking for a pic,to show leese, but I can't find any so far.

We used roses with baby's breath but that was in 1989. Don't have pics.

I'd use a big calla lily with a decent amount of green if it were me, I think that would look excellent.

Yeah, a calla lilly was what I was picturing. I know I've seen it, but I can't flind it anywhere & I have to get back to work now

Ok, this might sound weird, but I saw these really pretty bouquets of silk roses at a Super Stop & Shop recently for like $20. Look around, now that Spring is coming, there might some pre-made floral bouquets in a lot of stores.
