BOB UPDATE

i can't express how much i appreciate everything you're saying girls.

i just took a xanax...i can't stop crying. any time i think about this - i'm in tears.....i know it seems silly...but this is his (former, i guess) best friend - he was a co-best man...he's been friends with him for more than 20 years... Apparently that didn't mean all that much to bob.

I'm sorry. . .sometimes you just have to step back from the situation and look at what is really going on. Its obviously his wife with the problem and she pushed it onto him. . . if 'bob' is willing to drop out of the party so that his wife is happy, your FH deserves a closer friend standing next to him on the day he gets married!

I dont understand BOB. Don't let yourself be upset. It is so unfortuante that you have to go through this. Bob should not be allowed to ruin your day. All that matters is that you are getting married and you and your husband love eachother. Feel better!!!

I am so sorry - you two do not deserve this but please believe me it is for the best and i promise you on your wedding day you wont even remember bob!!!

i just hung up from like a half hour convo with dave about this whole thing.

when i told him i was crying most of the afternoon - he got upset & told me not to waste my tears. he's more angry than anything. he's not sad....

he did say that bob just kept saying - this is how i feel...and dave said that if you want me to be 100% honest with you and tell you how i feel about this - i'll never see you again because it won't be nice...

and before he walked away from him he asked, 'this is all from you, right?' and bob paused and said yes....LIE...

he said the only thing he's taking solace in is the fact that bob was REALLY torn up about it...so it's 100% obvious that it's NOT HIS CHOICE...

Oh no I am so sorry. for you and FH. I know its hard to see now but it's probably for the best in the end.

Tried to catch myself on everything everyone has wtritten.. If anyone is willing to drop out then they shoudl go they don't deserve to be there. Its an honor and they dont deserve that if they are being an A**

Wow Jess, I'm so sorry. I've been off the site basically all day and night. That really stinks about Bob.

I bet it's mostly his wife. She probably is filling him with bad thoughts, maybe?

If it helps, Drew has a whole bunch of friends and their wives are all friends and I'm not in with them at all. They are all on our myspace page but never speak to me. I asked one girl for her new address so I can send her and her hubby a xmas card and she never even replied. Thing is, how would I invite her to the wedding if she wouldn't send me her new address?

Cheer up, you don't need that.
Also, is it weird to have your bach parties on the same day? I wanted to do this too because Drew's brother's gf might be able to go and she lives in VT with his brother. I figured it'd be good for her to have something fun to do when they come to town.

I'm so sorry!!! It's his loss - when he splits up from his b!tch of a wife (hopefully) he'll look back with regret. (I know I'm going to Hell for that).

I'm so sorry for you and Dave - it must really hurt you both.

I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. I delt with a similar situation and I know it causes nothing but stress.



I hope that things work out the best way they can, you and Dave definetly don't deserve such shabby treatment.
