Yeah really. There's going to be more snow on the ground tomorrow than there was today. It doesn't make sense!!!!!!!!!!

I know! He took away sooo many parking permits last year from teachers. Where the h e l l are we supposed to park??? I live in Queens, but my school is on the border of BK and to take the subway would take an hour (even though driving is 15 minutes). Maybe I'll take the bus, but that's going to be a pain too. Soo annoyed

I cant stand him!! He says leave your car home, but schools are open?! UGH its so dangerous to drive....he doesnt think about the other boroughs or teachers that have to drive

He makes no sense. He goes on and on about how it's dangerous and not to drive. Well in case you don't know Bloomberg, but many of the NYC teachers live in LI and we can't exactly rely on subways.

Is he going to come dig my car out of the foot of snow at 5am, or does he want to send his driver to come pick me up?

He su cks...I thought that school should have been today (sorry teachers) but be closed tomorrow when it will be much worse

It hasn't even stopped snowing yet

i just dont get it... he said himself that it's going to continue snowing and leave your car at home... but so the children can continue living the 'american dream' school is open tomorrow??? doesnt he realize that not only do the teachers have to drive in but the students too?? whether they walk or their parents drive them... even if they take the school bus they are ON THE ROAD... i hate him... idiot

Bloomberg has no concern for teachers and I guess he never will. Not once did he mention safety of teachers. All he has to say is, sorry that you can't get another day off. As if we all went on holiday today. It was nice to have a day off, yes, but I was relieved that I didn't have to DRIVE. He is so clueless it's not even funny.

i had to work today, i work in an ER...we don't get snow days... had to trekk out in the snow to take care of kids with fever & cough... seriously parents brought their kids to the ER for this today...

everyone should be staying home, it's crazy out there!

Never mind that the roads won't be clear by the time we all (and the kids) have to leave for work/school. My car is snowed in, so I'm looking at a 2 hour bus ride to go 8 miles (20 min drive). Thank you Mr. Mayor for thinking of public safety ahead of politics....
