I haven't quite decided what I think about Travis. He just seems to good to be true right now.
I can't wait to see how Travis and Gabby deal with their emotional baggage in the coming chapters.

Im a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks (FH makes fun of me and calls him Nicky Sparks idk why) I like the way he writes, he makes it so it doesn't feel like you're reading a book....if that makes sense.

I kind of got the feeling at first that we were supposed to like him but then when he was nice after the whole Molly birth drama, he began to sound a little like a good guy. But wouldn't staying with her, or at least offering, be something that was at least expected?

That does make sense. I am eager to keep reading to find out more about the characters, especially his sister. I feel like Travis may compare his women to his sister. Just a speculation.

In my case, its rare haha...my ex boyfriend missed my grandfathers funeral because he was pledging for his frat at the time and he 'just couldnt'
Mind you... my grandfahter raised me...so he was like my dad...and did not pass from old age...
so to me, i took the character as a genuine guy who seems as though he may not be ready to settle?

Re: Book Club Meeting!
Don't you feel like the wives of Travis' friends when you're around fh's friends? I'm always trying to figure out why some seemingly nice guys can't stick it out with girls!

I got that feeling too, but I'm not a fan of his sister, im not sure why, maybe 'cause she's very abrupt.

I thought the same thing. Introducing her so early and making the reference that he thought it was odd that he and her both waited to graduate and not settle down was put there for a reason..
