Hi All FIRST OF ALL I AM A BOARD ENTHUSIAST! HEHE
my FH and myself have had a very stressful two weeks since this whole JA thing went down. But we decided to book Woodbury Country Club and back out of JA's.
We are extremely happy and I think even though it is not on the water I like it better!

congratulations, I am also getting married at WCC 9-10-04. It's nice to see more and more Woodbury CC brides, the grounds are so beautiful. You made a great choice

I'm really considering this place too... I am down to WCC and one other place so far.. who did you deal with when you booked jillnbrad?

Well I booked wth Chad, and he is no longer working for WCC, I only found this out 2 weeks ago so I need to call them. I was told to go with Vinny or Mike, they both have been there for over 10 years

really!!! There are sill no 9-10-04 brides, I'm lonely It' cool cause you're pretty close and at the same place! I will be sitting here you're sitting exactly one month after you, how funny!

Which room did you book, upstairs or the Garden Suite?

Garden Suite, I really wanted an outdoor cocktail hour because the grounds are soooo pretty

Me too!! And you get so much more of the grounds for the ceremony if you use the Garden Suite. The ceremony area for the upstairs is so much smaller! I couldn't believe it. I guess that's the trade-off for the cocktail hour room, though.

Yeah, I never even looked at he upstairs room, I was too facinated by the grounds

It's fairly similar to the room downstairs, but a little darker colorwise and set up slightly differently with a stage area on one end, but basically the same layout.

I remember when we first booked I was a little nervous because, I really never head of anyone getting married there, it's makes me feel better to see more brides choosing WCC. I still don't understand why more brides don't book there

I said the same thing. I don't know why more people don't get married there, but maybe we don't hear about WCC more on here because they're not listed as a vendor?
