Hey Ladies,

Do you book Church before Reception Hall? or Reception Hall before ..........

i know many church prefer you do church before reception hall..
well do they prefer? or it is required?? hmmm

We decided to hit the church first b/c we expected them to give us a tough time if they knew we booked RH first. The church was awesome and basically said when you figure out what date you want to get married, get back to us. We were VERY happy it worked out that way. it might also depend on your particular church. I would talk to them first to get a feeling of how they like things done.

We booked the church before the reception hall, but I called the halls I was interested in first to find out what dates they had free so I had an idea when we went to the church. I really suggest you do that.

We did our RH 1st because we weren't sure if we wanted to get married in a church or not. Today we went to the church as booked our date with them.

If you are booking in 2011 most churchs will have your date..just make sure it is not a holy week.

we booked our church first but they also told us available dates surrounding ours that were still open if we wanted to change it based on reception hall openings!
