Booked Watermill

Hey Everyone, I'm new here... I just booked Watermill for May, 2014 and would really appreciate any feedback at all on the place, from the food to the restrooms to the seating chart... any info would be greatly appreciated!

I went there for a wedding in 2009 and remember the food being really good!

I went there for a wedding a few years ago and had a great time! It's literally a few minutes from my parent's house on LI so I used to pass it all the time when I lived at home - it always looks so beautiful!

going to my cousin's wedding there on Oct. 13- but i heard the food is amazing, and my cousin said they are having a mashed potato bar which i am SOOO excited about lol

Thanks Everyone! I've never taken on something so big or important before so as much as I loved the place when we saw it, I am just so nervous that something won't be what we thought.. lol.. I know I probably need to just relax

Congrats! I haven't been there for a wedding but I went there once for a showcase. I don't remember which room I was in but the whole place was beautiful!

My Best Friend got married there in Sept. DELCIOUS food. THE Mashed potato bar was delsih!!!!!

The best advice I can offer you is... get absolutely EVERYTHING in writing!

Do not let them 'assure' you of anything... if you want it, make them write it into the contract.

Our banquet manager passed away and now we are playing this game with them because we made the mistake of not getting things we were promised written into the contract.
