Ladies I'm curious if you've ever booked any of your vendors without considering on checking or making appointments to see others.
It doesn't seem like its a smart idea but has anyone ever felt so strongly about a vendor and didn't want to look else where?

I didn't meet with any other dj or videographer and booked them on the spot....they were amazing!

Most of our vendors were chosen on the spot.

There is a DJ my family has used for years, and i recently went to a wedding there they were the DJ....i plan to book them once it get closer to our date.

My videographer- morrelli media- did not even call anyone else I was that impressed. Also my dress- I went to one store, tried on a bunch of dresses and ended up buying the first one I had tried on.

Just about everyone. My Dj, MUA, and it only took us a day for the RH. That's all we got so far. Oh and our florist.

I knew the photographer I wanted but looked at one other place just to be sure about extras and pricing... I stuck with my original thought.

For photo/video, I knew we'd be going with Proline because I know the owner of the company.
For limos, I knew we were booking with Joe the second we met him.

I did it with flowers and music. My FH felt strongly about the DJ choice and I trust his judgment. I was so tired of wedding planning at that point that I didn't have the energy to make more floral appointments after the first one. I was happy with our first meeting and had heard positive reviews. Plus my coordinator recommended them as well.
I think that too many choices can be stressful sometimes.

I booked my RH almost w/out hesistation, FH made me go to our next appointment (like an hour later) and then I cancelled everyother appointment went back the next weekend and put the deposit!
thats the only vendor i've booked so far

Lol, we actually booked almost all our vendors this way. Let me preface that by saying that we did TONS of research prior to the meetings and really knew what we were getting into. I booked my photographer on the spot without meeting anyone else Booked Pennylane on the spot ( although I had met with one other videographer before ) Booked DJ and officiant on the spot

We booked our photographer, DJ, and florist without 'shopping around'.
We had friends highly recommend the photographer and the DJ, so I felt very good about booking them on the spot. I also depended on you LIW girls for picking a florist, because we were had waited waaay to long to book one and just didn't have the time to go to multiple places.

Just my DJ... lol but I work for them.
We looked at Duet first for photo and went to see 4 others just in case. We ended up going back to Duet to book.

Makeup. I went to Oksana and that was it.
We went to two photography appointments, but when we saw Duet (the second) we booked that day, no thinking about it.
Took DH to see After Hours DJ, we booked there (I had gone to see one other before that)

I booked Duet without looking at anyone else.
I booked Pedestals and only looked at one other company. My mother knows the owner, so I knew we were likely going to book Pedestals anyway.
