Can I book a florist before I have my bridesmaids gowns and color scheme picked out?

I am sure you can, you don't really have to decide on the actual arrangements or bouquets until a couple months before the wedding. You will need to know how many bouquets, centerpieces, bouts, corsages you will need and of course your budget.

Yes. I had didn't have my colors picked when I booked my florist (in the summer). (my wedding is in the fall so I figured it would be a fallish color..no clue of the style.) I just had to give them an idea what type of a centerpiece I wanted. My bouquet and the girls' bouquets (style and color) can be chosen I think either a month or a couple of weeks before. One place wanted me to pick the bouquet style and I said I could not do that because that would depend on the style of my and the girls dresses ... they said that didn't matter ...so therefore I did not choose them. I have been with friends when they picked their bouquets and a good florist can look at pictures of dresses and help make a match!
