Booking Videographer Tonight - Anything else I need to know?

Hi,

I am going tonight to book Bellarino for my wedding video! Is there anything I should know or ask before I actually sign?? I get a little lost and kind of just go along with whatever the vendors tell me Anyway, any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Make sure that your contract specifies:

* Start time/location
* End time/location - make sure they stay til THE END of your reception!!
* Use of wireless mic on groom to hear the vows during ceremony
* One or two camera coverage
* Whether or not you want interviews with guests
* Make sure to specify low light, if that's what you want
* Make sure to ask for your raw footage to be included in your package
* number of edited VHS or DVD copies
* length of edited footage

That's all I can think of right now, but I hope this helps as a starting point. Good luck!

I'm racking my brain trying to think for you. I could only come up with one thing

Ask if they go to your formals w/you (like if you're going to gardens, etc) Those make such a nice segment in a video.

Ooh, one more:

If you're getting dvd, Ask if their DVDs are compatible to most DVD players, they should have a list.

You will LOVE Bellarino!! Phil is great to work with!
He will go over everything and I doubt you will have any questions. I used him for our September 27th wedding!
Decide if you want him to come to your house before ceremony to film you getting ready.

And decide if you want Honeymoon montage(collection of photos from your honeymoon).

Good luck! You will be so happy with Bellarino. No need to worry about this part of the wedding! What a relief!

im a bellarino bride also -- just to let you know, you dont HAVE to decide now if you want him to come to your house beforehand or come to formals. you can always add that on later if you're not sure now. phil is super nice!

I actually know that I am NOT going to have him come to my house before the ceremony... The photographer will be there and I think that's all I'll be able to handle that day! I get a little cookoo under pressure And I don't have time between ceremony and cocktail hour, so I guess I have it pretty easy! Thanks again!

I booked with Bellarino last night! I was nervous signing the contract but Phil and Kate are great. Don't worry about a thing. You will be so happy when you leave the office because of the decision you have made. Good Luck
