Boomer went to Kittie Heaven

Last week I posted a picture of my cat, Boomer. He had a cone around his neck and a very sad look on his face. He had an abscess removed and we all thought he'd be fine once the cone came off and the drain was removed. we found out on sunday, may 29th that boomer had Leukemia. he stopped eating on tuesday (monday wasn't so great, but he was ok.) and we took him to the vet to see whats what. so the vet said the most important thing is he has to eat, whatever he wants. but, when we got home, he drank a little, but ate nothing. so we called the vet who told us the best thing, the most humane thing, is to put him to sleep. the HARDEST thing i have ever had to do. me, my dad and my brother were all crying. i'm attaching a picture of him as how i want to remember him.

Oh Sarah I am SO SORRY about Boomer

I know its hard, but try to find some comfort in the fact that he is in a better place and no longer suffering. And I'm sure he'll find his 'twin' , my Rudy, as a playmate to chase around with

Sarah I am so sorry to hear. In December we had to put my Kittie elvira to sleep. I know how hard it is!

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.

Sorry about your kittie.

I know how you feel. I suddenly lost my cat many years ago and I still feel sad about it to this day. I'm always so afraid that will happen to my Simba now. Hang in there
