lucky dog getting to work with the FH.
the closest we get is text messaging all day. thank god we are in the network..lol or the bill would be sky high.

We are moving on the corner of vets and broadway. there is a new complex that was built. they are almost finished with our unit. Move in day is the 29th. thank god.

Me and FH have been going out of our minds at his parents. they drive us crazy, and are always up in our bizz!!, too much to handle.

everyone is out of the office now and its getting dead. We were so busy for the past few weeks which is so odd for printing because we normally are dead around this time. Now i know today will be sent home early which is good since i am came in early so i do not lose out on pay.

Cleaned the toilet at work out of bordem and will be vaccuming the office soon.

We got cookies from the cookier jar inc. in bayblon from our paper distributor yesterday. THOSE COOKIES WERE GOOD!!! Still looking at the box resisting to eating more.

I work for Gold Coast Printing and express mailing service in melville we are considered quick printers because we are smaller then industrial printers (like label companies). I have my boss/owner, a pressman and then me and thats it. So two men and a woman means i get stuck doing the cleaning otherwise I can't go to the bathroom because its filthy from nasty men.

What label company and where?

I had taken my last final of the semester today in European Art History .. thank god i am tired of studying. Last semester is the one comming up and then I am on the hunt for a job as graphic designer in a advertising house or larger print shop. I am just tired of wearing many hats here and pre-press is annoying to me.

Good for you on the final... I just finished up today too.

I worked at Paris Art Label. It was mostly cosmetic labels. I worked on Estee lauders, which was pretty fascinating. The industry is interesting. Watching the presses run, was one of my favorites.

I know of both companys (hehehe) actually i wanted to apply into the field to do a internship once. I never did it because I went to a medical company for package design and was completely torn up because of my wonderful web page authoring skills which I never was made aware that it was a requirement to be hired. I know some html, basic flash and dreamweaver but I am not expert by far. I guess it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I may apply there in spring for both companys.. to see if there is any availabilities. I just want to be paid more then what I am (which is basically poverty level) and maybe get some benefits.

I can't talk about presses all day. I love printing itself. Live and breathe it. Wanted to be a presswoman but found out that doesn't happen in this industry and if it does its a HARD life. So went into design instead.

Wow this is taking away the bordom of work.. but now i am borring people IoI
