Bored at work: What do all of your FH's do for a living??!!

OK I am soo bored at work right now....and I found a question to ask, I don't think it's been asked before.

So tell us: What does your FH do for a living, work? school? play? all three

Is it really bad that I don't know? He started a new job last may and I know he does something in commercial real estate but I have no idea what it is

FH is in real estate. He's in business with his dad and brother, and is currently project manager of a building they are putting up in Astoria... where he is definitely hand on. He also has a brokerage with his brother (they're both brokers) but haven't done any of that lately.. since this market is oh so great!

which building in astoria? im curious if its the one im thinking about

On 31st Street b/w Broadway and 31st Avenue.. on the east side of the street, next to the parking lot.

FH is a Sgt. in the Marine Corps. Right now he does Marketing and Public Affairs in support of recruiting. I LOVE that he is a desk Marine...for now

For fun, he loves to take our dogs for runs on the beach. Those three have so much fun together

what recruiting station does he work in?? yeah fh was thinking of re-einlisting this coming up Nov to do recruiting since he most likely would be on LI and could live at home. But its only a 3 year duty station and I dont want us to have to move that last year he is in you know

fh is currently a stay at home wedding planner.

he gets his real job back after june so we can take a lil honeymoon.

FH is a supervisor for the town of hempstead water dept. he fixes water mains and all that stuff

and he has a part time job doing security for a school district.

oh its funny bc just yesterday i noticed that they have closed this cafe and are building something else in its place...when youre on the N train its above ground and it goes along 31st street so i saw it yesterday when i was taking the train after work to FH's

Fh works for a construction he was the lead foreman/carpenter and now hes a project manager
School-didnt go beyond HS
Play-stay home with me and our daughter

FH is a Verizon Wireless Business Sales Rep (he sells verizon wireless to legal and insurance companies)

Fo play, he's a skydiver but he is also an instructor and works on the weekends over the summer

Where does your husband work? My cousin used to do the exact same thing in midtown, but recently switched jobs. I wonder if they know each other!

He's out of the Melville office.. They've been talking about transfering him to the city though!

I think I know which place you're talking about... it was Byzantio and now it's a bank? It's crazy what's going on in Astoria, so much is changing. That's why I sorta worry about them putting up this building.. so many other ones are going up right now that it's like, will they find the people to fill it once it's done, especially in this market? I jooke with him that if anything he'll just be a stay at home dad.. he doesn't find that very funny

yes exactly, it used to be byzantio. Yeah its crazy but lately in astoria they are putting up one bank after another. ALl these places close and ill wonder what they will put in its place and its always a bank.

he currently works at JP Morgan Chase doing printing production. he's going back to school after the wedding though and hopefully will be out of that place within a year.
