Has anyone been? Me and DH are looking to go in a few weeks - but since it is not on the boardwalk you can't get to any other casinos by walking right? cabs? It looks really nice and they have a good rate for the nigth we want to go. Any info would be great Tx

Re: Borgata Casino?
I've been and we didn't bother going to any of the other casinos...Borgata is so much nicer and there's so much more to do there.

Re: Borgata Casino?
It is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
We haven't stayed there yet but went to their buffet for lunch (it was good) and gambled a bit (DH Won:D)
It is about 10 minutes or $10 from the boardwalk by cab (Which IMO is nothing special).

It's beautiful and has lots of nice restaurants. You can't walk to the boardwalk, but IMO, once you get inside the Borgata, you won't want to got to the boardwalk anyhow.

Re: Borgata Casino?
I took DH for his B-day and we had a great time. The boardwalk does not thrill me, so I did not feel like I was missing anything. There is plenty to do at the Borgata and we never went outside.

Re: Borgata Casino?
I was just there for a bachelorette party 2 weeks ago and never left the hotel. The girls all went to the spa (except me - I am not into spas) and they really enjoyed it. We went to the nice restuarant which was nice and good food - but I thought a little over priced for what we ate. At night we went to the club and had a fun time.

Re: Borgata Casino?
I can't remember the name of the restaurant we ate at...it was good..It was a little more fancy - at least for AC. Do you have a list of the names - maybe it will make me remember?

Re: Borgata Casino?
The Borgata is really nice. We usually stay at harrahs (next to the Borgata). Im pretty sure that there is a shuttle bus that will take you to the boardwalk casinos. IMO the boardwalk area is gross and run down.

Re: Borgata Casino?
We spent a Friday night at the Borgota and it was really nice. We thought most of the restaurnats were pricey so we ended up cabbing it to the Boardwalk (it was about an $8 ride), eating dinner hanging out, and then going back to the Borgata to the bars, which was pretty much the same price as places in the city. The room was really nice - it had a really cool bathroom!
