However, if we only have boys, I will keep trying until we have a girl - he says the same about if we have only girls! We would like to wait a year or two so we can enjoy being married and travel, just the 2 of us... I do not know if that will actually happen tho bc we both love kids and talk about having a family of our own all the time!![]()

I would love 3, but FH wants 2 kids and 2 BIG dogs lol. I said if we have the same sex for the 1st two then we should have a 3rd to see what we get. Somedays I think 2 kids is better - everything seems to be a family of 4 ![]()
I'd like a baby before I'm 30 so maybe we will start trying a year after the wedding since I'll be turning 29 in 2014.

FH and I want 3 children! 2 boys, close in age. I would love twins since FH is a twin and love how close they are. And 1 girl, daddy's little girl to be exact! We don't want kids right away because we really want to enjoy life as a couple first without the limitations of having children in the mix, plus we've been waiting a long time for that one thing to happen' on the wedding night, if you catch my drift! lol! We have some lost time to make up for!!! ![]()

I really don't know! At this point I'm content with just having dogs.... I can't see my future childless though, but I'm sooooo not in that mindset and I get anxiety at the thought of babies. Maybe we will have one, eventually
I totally feel you on that!!! The thought of children right now gives me major anxiety!!! haha

I have an 8 year old from a previous relationship. She has no relationship w her birth father and calls fh 'daddy'. ; her own choice at 7 years old. By the time we get married my daughter will be 10, and I will be 33... As much as I love children that's a huge gap and we are thinking about adding one more possibly. I was a single parent for a long time and it scares me, I just keel telling myself that he would be there to share in the sleepless nights and such.
Ideally I hope to have one more if God is on the me page w me, and I would like to be a surrogate for someone. There truly is no better feeling then holding ur child for the first time. ( I would only be the oven, it would not be biologically my child).

That is seriously so awesome of you to want to be a surrogate!! Very selfless!

I Agree too! I don't think I'm ready for kids yet! I have a dog, cat and rabbit. I'm content right now!

He wants 3+ and I only want 2. Either way as long as theyre healthy I really dont care. And I'm sure that FH will want to start trying as soon as were married because weve been together forever and hes 6 years older then me and he says that 'his biological clock is ticking'![]()

I wanted 4 growing up but teaching made me realize two will be enough. I would love twins but gender doesn't matter, I think we will have boys though. My FH and I talk about waiting about two years or so because we arent going to be living together before we get married we want time just us but honestly whatever happens happens and I will see it as a blessing.
Isn't it funny how teaching changes our perspective on things?

We want def. 2 maybe 3 depending how we are finically and other things. I want to have a house and a full time teaching job before we have kids. And FH wants to start his own D.J business after the wedding. So we will be waiting at least until those things happen.

I want to wait at least 6 months b/f we have kids..i really want to enjoy being a newlywed first b/f i bring kids in the picture but i dont want to wait to long b/c im going to be 32 ..... LOL
