wait, i don't understand how the bank can not have the information as to WHICH check it was that was bounced??? i find that to be very odd. i have never ever heard of this. i think you need to speak with someone higher up at the bank--because that's a load of bull that they can't tell you which check it was. how do they know it wasn't an error of the other person's bank? you should be able to find out the check and then the other party should verify the information and that it wasn't some glitch. like i said, i think it's shady the bank is not telling you which check bounced.

as for the etiquette, if you find out who did it, i would certainly tell them in a polite manner that you incurred fees and let them know about it!

I am so confused right now

i know it sounds confusing ppl....but i'm not crazy. i'm not the only one who saw it. but on this thread---the response where tinyviola says 'my bank is going to investigate it' it DID NOT have tinyviola's name on there before....it was responded by bridemike2be or whatever her name is.

someone it's back to being tinyviola. i dunno how it was done. but it was as if bridemike2be was responding AS tinyviola would respond, like the poster forgot which name she had open and responded under the wrong one to her own thread.

i think when bride2beofmike quoted me using only quotation marks and NOT the quote option, it threw some of you off. trust me, and trust RON, we are not the same people.

if any posts are edited, it leaves a red stamp indicating so. and i really don't believe it is possible to switch the poster's user name.

you should get the bounced checks back. YOu can redeposit them another time.

The people who gave them to you know they bounced. every bank charges fees on both ends.
