Bouquet : to toss or not to toss?

Just wondering what everyone is planning on doing as far as bouquet/ garter....

We are planning on doing both! We have a lot of single friends and surprisingly they are all looking foward to it!

We did both. My DH's family is rather traditional and they wanted it. It was fun!

We did right before the cutting of the cake since the music and dancing would've stopped anyway for that, there was no real disruption for it.

Fh and I are doing the bouquet toss and the garter toss. We both think it would be fun and are looking forward to doing it.

we're doing the bouquet toss, definitely. I think that's such a cute & fun tradition. We are also gonna be removing the garter (also a fun tradition. lol.) but instead of tossing that, FH is just gonna hand it over to the bestman. I personally don't like the whole thing where the man who catches the garter, puts it on the girl who catches the bo-k. I think that's soooo awkward for the two people ESPECIALLY if they don't know each other.

My sister tossed both for her wedding, but instead of the guy putting the garter on the random stranger, they just had a dance instead. But like i said, for me - we're just gonna hand that garter on over, still tossing the bo-k tho!

ETA - we're doing the anniversary dance as well. I like that tradition, but not as a way of giving the bo-k. We'll give some wine instead.

We were the first of our friends to be married so there were a lot of people up for both. It was fun!!

i did the bok toss but i did it a little differently

i waited until the end of the night when the limo had arrived to take DH & I to the hotel. then i had the DJ announce to all the guests to line up outside to see us off.

everyone did and i stood on the deck and threw my toss bok to the crowd below me. anyone who caught it kept it--didnt matter if they were a single lady or whatever.

then DH and I ran past everyone and all the guests were cheering & high fiving us as we climbed in the limo. it was the best exit ever!

I love this idea, kinda like they did it in the movie Father of the Bride which I watched a thousand times!!

I however did both bouquet and garter during the reception.
