Any heard any complaints regarding service issues or contract issues? I am very concerned about some information that someone disclosed to me about a wedding 3 weeks ago. It was a close family member of the bride. Yes, I called Ben and spoke to him, but he says he knows nothing of complaints with the wedding. Any input?

I saw that there is a new menu on their site. I got the older menu when I booked last Aug. Its called the Gatsby's Wedding Menu. I has a lot of food choices on it (but the new one may have more i did not look at it too closely). Ben also gave us the option to choose a menu from Timber Pointe which was less expensive - but we are not doing that. My contract says Ch (then it explains all the food I get - which I think is way too much) Champagne toast app salad (or app/salad combo) 3 dinner entrees tators & veggies premium brand liquor 4 tier wedding cake of your choice

I had my wedding at The Bourne almost a year ago and as I stated in my review, DH and I felt Lessings went above and beyond our expectations. Their food was excellent, the service was top-notch and Ben & his team were VERY accommodating.
I think this is the first time I've ever heard about a complaint at The Bourne.
I remember your review and how great it was, hopefully this incident is just a fluke.

Ladies, do the same as me and don't even worry about it. I'd be more suspiscious if there were NO complaints. You know what they say, if it seems too good to be true...... I think we're all on the ball and will be sure to keep an eye out.

we signed our contracts before the new menu was out, but we are still getting the new menu, no fees involved. of course, any 'extra'like a martini bar or chocolate fountain is more money, but it is like that everywhere. overall, the bourne is a great choice, and I think they are on top of things, given that the bourne is the lessing's elite setting (as said by michael lessing). so, dont worry, girls. and I will let you know all about it in 36 days!!! yay, pray for sun!!!

I am doing the sun dance!!!! Thank you all for your input. I am much more at ease and confident. I am sure that it will be fine. It is, what it is. Thanks again!! I hope that I didn't upset anyone!!
