Bourne Mansion Hotels

Hi Brides to Be :)

I know I have already posted this question but I am about to book my hotel block at the Hilton Garden Inn for my wedding at the Bourne Mansion.

Does anyone have any feedback on this hotel vs any other that is close to the Bourne?

I used the Holiday Inn (Islip Airport) because their bar stayed open late - when I was looking, I found that the Hilton bar closed much earlier. I knew we'd want to hang out with our out of town guests for a while that night after the wedding, so that was my deciding factor.

There was a little bit of a mix-up with the room block when people were checking in because there was another wedding there that weekend and that bride had the same last name as I did (what are the odds?!?!), but otherwise we had a good experience.

They also provided a shuttle bus to Bourne for a small fee, which we used and people liked it.

Good luck - my reception at the Bourne Mansion was AMAZING. I hope you have as much fun as I did!
