We were in a wedding this past weekend and the guys had on vests with bow ties...my FH felt like he looked like a butler! We had already chosen the same look for our wedding for our GM's...now my FH wants to change it...what do you think? Also...does anyone have pics of their GM's in Euro Ties?
Thanks!! We have less than 1 month and I need to call the tux place to change our tuxs....

Re: Bow Ties or Euro Ties? Who had what? Pics?
I'm not sure what Euro ties are but we are having all the men in straight ties. The fathers will be wearing bow ties.

Euro ties are the straight ties. Also called four in hand. I think that's what we are doing. Not sure about the dads.

DH & the BM wore euro ties. It looks very nice. I think bow ties will always look classic with a tuxedo but your FH should wear what he feels more comfortable with.

Same here. I like seeing older men in bow ties - it's a very classic look for them IMO.

We had originally considered a bow tie for my dad & DH's uncle (who performed the ceremony) but decided it was easier for everyone to have the same - I was afraid of a mix up!
