FH and I have had them picked out before we got engaged. We want to name our boy after a very good friend of ours passed away a couple years ago: Thomas James and our girl I wanted a nice italian name and I really love the name Gianna. So I was telling my mom one day and she said you know Gianna is Gina in italian, which is my name, and it is the female version of jon is italian, which is FH name. I was sold right there and so was he.

aidan matthew, we decided on this already because my first child will be a boy, I won't have it any other way.
I loooove aidan!!! But FH wont budge!!!!!!!!
The only thing with having the first name aidan is that my future last name is VERY irish sounding it is an O' name. Meanwhile, we are raising our children jewish so little Aidan O'Donnell* will be very confused going off to hebrew school * names have been changed to protect the innocent
yes, my nephews are like that - in hebrew school with very irish names mine will be in hebrew school with spanish names - LOL
but remember, judaism is a religion; NOT a nationality

Re: Boy names..........
boy: George Anthony (after FFIL and my dad . . . .yes my dad and FH have the same name!)
girl: Annamaria (kind of after his mom and my mom Joann and Maria)
but that is it so far so if we have two girls or two boys we are screwed!

Re: Boy names..........
well the girls names were the easiest we have those picked
Alexis Gabriela(Gabriela is my moms name)
Isabella Jane (Jane is his moms name)
Now the boys names we disagree alot lol, I love very italian or exotic type names and he doesnt at all.
He loves the name Alex and so do I, and both of our fathers are named Mario so were gonna do Alex Mario, Fh actually wanted ALex Rodriquez, rodriquez is not even a middle name hes crazy lol, obsessed much? I would've really wanted the name Mario for our son and thought it was also great bc its our fathers name, but NOOOO Fh doesnt like it
But I also love the names: Lorenzo, Giancarlo, Marcello...and the other day Fh said Lorenzo is growing on him WOO HOO.

Well I want to name our first boy after him which is Anthony Joseph, but I think we will call him A.J. For the girls will be difficult. I love weird names for girls. I even like boy names for girls...Dylan, Skylar, Hunter, Mackenzie. I know. lol Maybe he will crack.

FH's mom side is Italian/catholic...
but his moms name is Gail (Jewish) his aunts name is Mary-lou (southern) then you have his uncle: Salvatore (Italian) They are all siblinings
His Dad is Norweigein/Irish (Scandanavian) his name is Howard (he's catholic)
so his parents were Gail and Howard... you'd think my FH was Jewish haha Fh is Catholic
So who cares what the nationality/religion behind the name is.. that stuff is all out the door

Re: Boy names..........
FH and I have discussed it a bit and we decided that when we have children we're going to be naming them after my grandparents, his grandparents and my mother (all deceased).
Two names we came up with are:
Jenny (or Jennifer) Fern - for a girl Edward Abraham- for a boy
Another I like is Alessandra (not a family member but I like the name) and I like the name Timothy.
