To make a LOOOOOOONG story short, my fathers mother and my uncle (her son) dont speak, havent since 10 years ago, when he moved to florida. They never got along , and when he told her he was gay, she told him 'if i knew u wouldve ben born like that i would have killed you', needless to say, thats waht kind of a person she is. I hardly see her, shes a terrible woman... She told my mother if my uncle comes to the wedding, she cant come, Okay. My uncle has been saying hes going to come...Which I wanted him to.(ive been BUGGING him) My mother was like iffy about inviitng him, but I pushed it.
NOW he was just online n told me 'i called your house the other day, u picked up when ur mother did, and hung up. taht was rude'. im like...w t f?? No i didnt..actually i saw ur # on call waiting and i asked my mother when you called...n hes like i think u just dont want me to come to ur wedding.......i wasnt gonna cuz any drama.........but i know when im not wanted, trust me i do W T F ????!!!!!!!!!! Then hes like i didnt even get an invite yet...so im like i just got a proof the other day.... n then he puts his away msg on 'go f urself'
omg...what is wrong w/my family seriously
it really sounds to me like he is tryin to make up any excuse not to come...he hasnt been here in 10 years and hasnt talked to any of his family....

It sounds to me like they already revel in their animosity towards each other and thrive on situations like this where they can draw attention to it.
Don't let 'em suck you in. They may wind up resenting you for it but when they have that much resentment in the first place, what's one more person?
There is nothing you can do with people like this and shame on them for putting you in the middle of their problems. Their problems are not your problems. Don't feel bad about anything because they are being ultimately selfish, only thinking of themselves. Let them. Let them think of themselves and stew in it while they're sitting at home alone and you're having the time of your life at your wedding!!!!!!

it was very unfair of him to talk to you like that - but seriously i would just invite everyone the way you planned to and let everyone decide on their own if they want to come or not.
you can't change your family - or their opinions - but you do not have to let them dictate your day.

Babes, he obviously has some unresolved personal and family issues...he had no right to talk/write to you this way, therefore, eff him....you're probably better off not having him there if he is such a DRAMA QUEEN!!!!!!!!!

oh i def was still goin to send invites to everyone... my grandmother told my other the othe rday if 'HE' comes, she wont come, she just cant, she will have a heart attack n die lol thats exactly what she said too my mother feels my fathers parents s/b there, which i agree.. but what if my uncle responds yes, then he doenst show up and then my grandparents dont come either?

I'm sorry you're dealing with this Jeanine he really could have handled that another way BUT maybe it's just that he's paranoid about not being wanted there. Oversensitive maybe? Either way...I hope this gets resolved and people stop bugging you
