ok so besides 'tucking', are there any other tricks to keeping him dry and from wetting EVERYTHING everytime he goes? What about a specific brand of diapers? THANKS

Re: boys and diapers

My best friend got these pads that you put over his privates when you change him so he doesn't wet everything in sight when she changes him.

Re: boys and diapers

I had the exact same problem at first too....I would have to change his outfit each time I changed his diaper! Pointing the penis down was the solution for me - perhaps it is the diaper brand in your case?. I have used Pampers Swaddlers and Huggies Supreme - I like them both. Pampers Baby Dry are horrible IMO. Never tried Luvs, and regular Huggies were not good either. Good luck!

Re: boys and diapers

I had this problem for the first full two months and then again just recently. I really loved the Swaddlers but they leaked just like the rest I tried tucking, going up a size, going down a size, tried every brand of diaper (so I thought) nothing worked! Until I was in CVS oneday and they were having a sale on their diapers, half price. Never had another leak at night, unless the diaper was absolutely completely full which I can understand. But I had been changing a wet baby and a dry diaper!

So its CVS brand for me, we use them at night and whenever he will be laying down often which is when our problem times are, and Pampers Cruisers during the daytime.
(only if I have coupond for them )

PS - I noticed that CVS diaper sales are cyclical, one week Huggies, the next Pampers, the next their Brand....and so on. Check your Sunday paper.

I used pampers on my son - after trial and error! And I was very happy with them.
