Hey ladies.. Have any of you gone for a brazilian bikini wax?
Whats the prep? and how bad does it hurt? And are you happy with the results?
Anyone go to the Red Door Salon to get it done?

Re: Brazilian??
It hurts like hell....but oh so worth it.... I went to Shobha and had sugaring, and have also had waxing, sugaring hurts less and last longer.
Prep? uhm let it grow enough...they will take care of the rest

Re: Brazilian??
My fiance always jokes about the fact that my brazilian sealed the deal for him :) it's so worth it to see how happy he gets every time i get one.
btw-it hurts like a mo-fo. drink a glass of wine before you go in.

Re: Brazilian??
It hurts but the results are great. I would consider a topical anesthetic if you hate pain. Also, just relax and breathe. Trust me you will understand what I mean....

lol I told myself that if I could sit through tattooes for hours I could get through 15 mins of waxing....but it did hurt like a *****, but quick pain at least!
VERY worth it

Re: Brazilian??
it does the first few times and after a while u get used to the pain iguess..I do it myself at home. But I did know a girl who went to get it done (for the first time) and I guess the lady told her that her hair (down there) was too course or something (cuz it was hurting her like mad) and suggested she not get waxed.
I never encountered that problem (nor do I know anyone else who has..LOL)

Re: Brazilian??
Make sure you get it done at a good place, not the nail salon where you get an $8 eyebrow wax! It should be fine at a Red Door Salon. It does hurt, but its fast. I agree with the gal who suggested advil a half hour before. If you're in the city, Devachan Salon has an excellent waxist named Tania.

Re: Brazilian??
It hurt so bad that I was laughing, to keep from crying!!!! It was totally worth it though, and lasted into my honeymoon which was key! The good thing was that the pain was very severe when she ripped, but immediately began to subside. By that night I wasn;t even sensitive anymore, and I have sensitive skin. Just go for it! Take a few advil before hand, and I'm sure the wine can't hurt either!!
