I figured I'd post here and gett you ladies to weigh-in.

My opinion...I'd like to try it but I'm very shy about it because I'm plus-sized. I'm also afraid of the pain.

i think i have a high tolerance for pain - well thats what the wax lady told me

i LOVE it - you'll never want to shave again - its not that bad after the first time

i agree - it's really not as painful as you would expect...bliss in nyc is my fave...

OMG !! I am so glad you posted this. I really want to get waxed before the hm since we are going to St.Lucia for a 8 days but I am a plus sized or full figured gal myself. I think no matter what I am going to suck it up and go for the full leg & bikini, but I want the brazilian...just

I totally understand...I might suck it up and do the same...just need to find a place that I might think is 'plus-sized friendly'.

dont be embarrased - if you go to the right kind of place its not that bad....i go to a salon/spa - the room is dim, there is a relaxation fountain, the table is heated, she gives me disposable underwear to put on and then she does her thing - its really not that bad - she moves the undies so that only the part she is waxing is exposed - and she never made me go into any positions - i just lay flat on my back and she gets everything!

Guess it takes getting used to. Sounds like your salon/spa tries to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

i don't know about brazilian, but i was thinking of at least a bikini wax. i've never done that before. i'm still nervous about that. I don't know if i want to take my pants off! lol
