Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I have located the Marisa dress I want to try on. Does anyone know anything about either of these places?

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I would say Bridal Reflections is better because the women at Bridal Couture are a little snotty- and you should do a search b/c I know someone had a really bad experience w/ Bridal Couture.

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I bought my dress at Bridal COuture and had an ok experience. (so-so) My dress came early, it was ordered on time and it fit great and the alterations were fine. Customer service on the other hand was not fine. Somedays they would be sweet but most of the time they were very very snobby and nasty.I have heard a lot of bad about bridal couture on this board but I found the dress of my dreams there and had to have it. Also, I do know quite a few people who got their dress there and had a good experience.

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
NOT BRIDAL COUTURE!!!! Do a search, you'll find TONS of complaints about them!!! Although there are some happy brides too. I found my gown originally at Bridal Couture (which they lied and told me I'll never find it anywhere else!) And I ended up finding it at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. There are two Bridal Reflections, I think you will find most of the complaints from the Carle Place store. Although I'm sure Massapequa has a few.Keep in mind A LOT of bridal salons have tons of complaints. I think Bridal Couture is in the lead though!

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I had a really good experience at Bridal Couture. The women I worked with, Darlene was very nice and supportive of my $1500 - $2000 budget.I also went to Bridal Reflections and although the women was very knowledgeable she was not the nicest.
You should go to both places and see who you like better.

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I got my gown from Bridal Couture and had a great experience. I know there are a ton of complaints about them, but I think you always hear the negative before the postitive. I have actually referred many people there as well who also had good experiences. Not only did I get my dress bu tall the bridesmaids dresses and flower girl along with numerous other bridesmaid dresses for weddings I have been in. All the dresses are beautiful in the store and their seamstresses are great! I guess it is just a matter of opinion and your own experience. Someone is always bound to complain. But they can't be that bad they have been in business forever.

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I would RUN as fast as you can from Bridal Couture to Bridal Reflections.....I think that it will significantly scare you if you were to check out Couture on the BBB and do a search here.
Good luck!

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
Bridal Reflections!!! I went to both, and had a much better experience at Bridal Reflections. At Bridal Couture they pulled the tags, and refused to me the designer names before purchase!

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
Same here Valenia! BC was the FIRST place I went too. The dress I tried on was gorgeous. Mind you I had already heard HORROR stories. Anyway.... They would not tell me a thing about it, except that 'it is custom made in Italy and I'll never find it ANYWHERE else' Well I LOVED that gown and didn't give up - and I was even going to take the chance and purchase it there (that's how much I wanted it)... But I ended up finding a Jim Hjelm in a mag and I thought it looked the same. I went back to BC to see and guess what???????? It was!!!! And so BR had it and I went with them. I've heard more good things about BR than BC. JMO!

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I had a very bad experience with BR!!!!!!!!!!!! Be careful with them, they ordered me the wrong dress and then 5 months later when it came in they called me and said' You can take the dress like this or you will just have to go find yourself a new one' She was such a biatch!!! OK so just my experience but I will add that they also never did final alterations on my cousins gown!

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I must have rubbed someone wrong at Bridal Reflections, because i did not have a good experience at all (although I am glad for those that did because they have beautiful gowns). But yeah, i am so happy you are getting a Marisa dress! Me too!!!! I actually ended up getting mine from Bridal Suite in Centereach. the owner knows tamira Kristen (the designer) well (or at least he says) and they can get some special perks (which i am sure are not all that unique - but are still good) and BS Centereach was terrific to work with and very honest. And they even match lower prices. I highly recommend them (and would caution against BR Massapequa). Good luck!

Re: Bridal Coutoure or Bridal Reflections?
I got my Marisa dress at Bridal Reflections. I loved the staff at the Massapequa store, but to be honest I was not crazy about the Carle Place group. There really was a difference. Post a picture of which Marisa dress it is!Welcome New Vendors
