So my mother and I went to the Metro Bridal Expo. Unfortunately we were unable to stay the entire time so we missed out on the performances and fashion show. Their were a lot of vendors that I was interested in. If you made the appointement that day you would be eligible for discounts with many of the vendors. I was unprepared for this and took over my mother's planner!!! So FH will be busy the next few weekends meeting with various DJs and florists. All the flower arrangements were beautiful but I bet that tranlates into $$$expensive$$$. It was fun and I'm glad I went. My mother and I were split up most of the time and she would fill out some of the forms for me!! We went through pretty quickly!

I went too...I didn't stay for the shows either, but there seemed to be a lot of great deals going on!

Yeah! Most people don't like going. I definately see how it's more for brides who are just starting. I did meet a lot of great people! I chatted with Glen from Get in Tune! We swapped emails back and forth and he even remembered me! I'll have to schedule a meeting with him since I did not see his performance.

Yeah i really wanted to go too, but i had 3-4 hours of sleep each night this week, yesterday was out all day, then fh's parents and my parents had dinner together and then went to a bar with friends...Today it all hit me and i woke up at 1:30pm lol, i sooo needed that though.

Yea, I went..with TakeingtheLongWay. We were a little disappointed at the tight space when you first walked through but in general there were some great displays. The floral people had the best displays I originally was not so big on flowers, but the displays made me think twice. And I WON A FREE TUXEDO for the FH from Town and Country Tuxedos, they called me last night to tell me! I wish I had won a free honey moon but free is free, right?

You know this was the first show I went to. A few months ago I got a call from American Laser Centers telling me I one third place fromthe bridal show.... And I though you had to be in it to win it!! Congrats on winning.

Apparently I won a 3 day 2 night vacation to the destination of my choice. That catch I have to go to this thing where they test out home goods and feed us inorder to pick up the prize. It's this Fri. though. i always think these things are weird. What if they poison us!
