Bridal Luncheon on the big day..

Hi- is anyone planning on doing a bridal luncheon on the day of the wedding? if so where? i am thinking of having a casual lunch the day of.. but not sure where yet..

We will be busy getting our hair and makeup done but I am having a brunch for my bridesmaids in December.

I think it's a great idea, but I'd be too stressed to sit down for 2 hours with everyone.

We'll be having breakfast at my mom's house that morning for those BMs that are staying over, but very casual and certainly nothing as big as a formal brunch or luncheon. Then we're onto hair and MU and getting ready; there really isn't any time IMO.

I will not have any time!!! how are you doing that? you should do it maybe a few days before. but then you have your rehersal dinner.

Why not have the lucheon the day before? Or, you could have a post-wedding brunch the day after. Believe me, you do NOT want to have any formal sit-down the morning of youyr wedding. I had bagels, doughnuts and coffee in our suite while we (the BM and I) were getting hair and make-up done, and that was enough.

No can do. Half the BP have small kids to tend to - they will be lucky to have 10 minutes to themselves that day.

We didn't have time for that. I had someone run out and get bagels, juice, muffins etc and we ate before we got ready.
