Has anyone else had trouble selecting bridesmaids?

No I didn't ,I knew I wanted to have my 4 sisters, my 1 sister-in-law, and my 2 best friends, not to mention, my Fh's cousin because she's like a sister to him. So that's 8 all together for us. Just think of the women who you care most about and who you think would want to be a part of your special day. Good Luck!

There was one person I was on the fence with...a college friend who I am not quite as close with anymore...I wanted to ask her and worried that she might be offended if I didn't. But I know she is always complaining about money problems and had a really stressful time being a bridesmaid in another wedding, and in general she can be somewhat negative, so I figured I wouldn't be doing either one of us a favor by asking her.
But my party is bigger than I had orginally wanted...1 MOH and 5 BMs..I would have preferred a couple less, but in the case of a couple of college friends, I felt I couldn't choose one person and not another
