We are having a big bridal party I love colors and was wondering how do you think it would look to have a pastel colored bridal party:
MOH in light purple Bridesmaid in light peach Bridesmaid in light Pink Bridesmaid in light blue Bridesmaid in light green 3 junior maids in yellow Flower girl in white
I love the idea but don’t want it to look too busy.
What do you think?

Re: Bridal Party Colors
I was at a wedding where they did that, it was very different! Yes, it does look a little 'busy' but it looked nice, they all wore the same dress, just in different colors. If you like it, I say go for it! I can't figure out any color myself, so I know how hard it can be. I think it's a cute idea!

Re: Bridal Party Colors
Years ago when I was young they called this a rainbow wedding. It can be beautiful if done right...just be sure the colors are all the same tone example all pastel, all dark, all bright etc. Have fun!
I don't think I would like it - kind of reminds me of easter eggs. If you want to choose one color and have the girls do different shades - like the MOH in light blue and girls in a deeper blue I think that would look better...

Re: Bridal Party Colors
I have seem pastel rainbow weddings I think they are beautiful! A suggestion though I would have them all wear the same gown , it might look to busy with different dresses also in different colors.

Re: Bridal Party Colors
no problem! for flowers you could keep it simple with white flowers for your girls and maybe your bouquet have all different colors.....just an idea

Re: Bridal Party Colors
I love the way this looks. My mother did it with pastels and one of my friends is doing it with bright colors!

Re: Bridal Party Colors
Me personally..I think it will be too much. I would stick to one or maybe have the MOH in one color and the birdesmaids in another. Alot of pastel colors are really unflattering especially if you have girls who are heavy.

Re: Bridal Party Colors
Do you think the summer pastel colors would look good on long dresses?

Re: Bridal Party Colors
I think as long as the dresses are all the same the colors won't be too distracting. I think it would be very pretty!
