Bridal party gifts...

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well!

My wedding is this coming January--I am trying to figure out great gifts to give my bridesmaids (FH is taking care of the groomsmen). If anyone has any ideas or places to go anything is greatly appreciated. --Also on the note of gifts, did anyone out there buy gifts for the parents also? Weddings are so expensivvvveeeeee!!!

Bridal party gifts... - Long Island Weddings

I gave my girls: name hanger, coach wristlet, pashmina, DOJ, personalized wine glasses, and a bm survival kit.

As for the parents, they are getting wedding albums. Which I'm making through Shutterfly.

for the girls: button up monogrammed oxford shirts to get ready in, cosmetic cases, makeup, bracelet, earrings, hangers with their names, and big beach bags

parents: customized picture frames from each of us, and then we are going to get $50 shutterfly gift cards so they can use them to make their parent albums (not getting them through the photographer, too expensive)

readers: got one reader a picture frame that has the 'love is patient, love is kind...' reading on it because that is the reading she is doing. We will take a pic with her at the wedding so she can put it in the frame. Not sure what I'm getting the other reader yet..

Boys: No clue.. my FH is still thinking lol

Got my girls... Swarovski necklace. Personalized tote bags. Robes for getting ready the morning of. Going to get my MOH and the one bridesmaid who has helped with everything something extra. Probably a personalized picture frame.

He's getting his guys... Jerseys of their favorite sports team. And the best man collects pocket knives so we got him a really nice knife that we are getting engraved.

The moms... paid for their dresses, Swarovski necklace, personalized tote bag and handkerchiefs. And getting my mom the Lenox bride statue from exclusively weddings.

The dads... handkerchiefs, paying for their tuxes, FOB/FOG baseball hats. And getting my dad a daddy's little girl frame.

We also paid our photographer for both sets of parents to get albums that they get to personalize themselves after the wedding.

I really liked the idea of gifting Swarovski necklace to the girls and albums to parents. I too plan something on these lines

so far I have gotten my girls custom hangers to hang their dresses on, coach wristlets, little mirrors that say bridesmaid/maid of honor. I'm obsessed with etsy! just asking them to be bms I made a whole goody bag, of course that was a year ago before I had spent any money so I had more lol. on etsy they have cute whipped soap I might throw in there also depending on $$$ I have.

anyway for the big gift it'll either be a tiffany's snowflake necklace or Swarovski snowflake necklace depending which I like more. I might also surprise them with shawls from david's bridal. again depending on $$.

for parents we are giving them little albums either made with shutterfly or from our photographer. also taking my parents to Los Angeles in April as a thank you. well we are renting house/paying airfare the rest is up to them lol. my parents have literally paid for everything so I felt we needed to do more than the norm. though sometimes the thought of a week with my mom in Cali...

I would love to get my girls and my parents soooo many things! But i know money issues ughhhh so annoying--really it is.

I am paying for all my girls to get their hair done and I also got them DOJ. I would like to get a personalized robe/wine glass for getting ready the day of but we will see.

I paid for my girl's hair and makeup. I got them the DOJ, bought them clutches and Pashminas. Also personalized flasks which I filled w/ their favorite liquor.

For the guys we got them personalized cooler bags, a six pack of their favorite beer, a personalized beer glass, personalized cufflinks and flasks.

I paid for hair, gave them picture frames, personalized tumbler in my wedding colors and a Amex gift card. I didn't get them DOJ, I let them wear any silver jewelry they wanted.

For our parents, we are giving them clone albums.

Moms - same totes, sweatshirts, personalized tumblers & hangers.

Dad - personalized frame from etsy that says 'Dad, of all the walks we've taken together, this one is my favorite. Love, Jess'

We are also doing parent albums.
