How did you ask your MOH to be your MOH. I have known for a while who I wanted to ask, and although I'm about 75 percent sure she already knows it's her, I still haven't officially popped the question.
I have an idea, but am open to more.
TIA!!!

Re: Bridal party question.
My cousin is my MOH and my mom and aunt both really wanted to be there when I asked her. So when we had our families together to celebrate the holidays, I had gotten all my BMs the bridesmaid cookie with the poem on it so I wrapped hers up like a present and when she opened it I asked her. I also gave her a picture frame with the pic of the two of us!

Re: Bridal party question.
I wrote a poem for each person. I got Old navy flip flops and I took paint pens and wrote MOH or BM on it and 2012 and their name. THen I wrapped them and put th epoem on the outside of the gift.

I only called them because I was so excited to tell them I was engaged. They were expecting it anyways.

Re: Bridal party question.
I asked my sister to my MOH when I called her to tell her we got engaged. It was always understood she'd be mine and I'd be hers, but she was still thrilled to be asked. I waited until we were at dinner with my FSIL to ask her to be my other MOH. I realize both aren't incredibly creative, I didn't think it had to be. Its an honor to be asked, I think so matter how you do it, they'll be so happy!

My MOh knew it was going to be her- it was just a matter of making it official - we met for dinner one night & I gave her a cute card & wrote a note in it about how she's my bff---it was really nice...we we're both crying hehe

Re: Bridal party question.
I told my MOH she would be my MOH way before I was even engaged! Once I got engaged she told me she was more than ready to take on the role if I still wanted her to be MOH. I told her of course!!!!!!! there is no one else i would choose.

Re: Bridal party question.
I didn't do anything cute or creative... I just asked them in person.
My MOH is my sister so that was a given (although she has done NOTHING to help me). She's only 20yrs old and I knew she'd be uninterested so I asked my best friend to be my Matron of Honor (she's married) and Thank God I did because she's been a huge help!

Re: Bridal party question.
I looked on Etsy and found my inspiration to make my MOHs and BMs personal cars asking them to be in my bridal party. I bought all the craft supplies at Michael's, but have yet to make them I will soon! I just liked the idea of making them something to ask them officially, even though I think they have all assumed that they will be in my bridal party.
My MOH has known she would be my MOH forever...I don't even remember officially asking her.

Re: Bridal party question.
i put a pic of us 2 on a magnet (a few other friends did picture frames i ddint want to copy them) and put the poem You've shared with me the special times, our friendship grows each day, We've shared our secrets and our dreams, and laughed along the way. And now at this most special time as my wedding day nears, I would like to have you by my side to calm some jitters and fears. When I am walking down the aisle a very happy bride, It would mean so very much to me to have you by my side. Will you be my maid of honor?
