Original post by bournebride

Has anyone used Bridal Reflections. I am ordering my dress today and am very nervous because I have not heard good things. Let me know.

WHATEVER you do, DO NOT go looking for a dress on weekends. If possible, go during a weeknight.......this will make your life a lot easier!!

Re: Bridal Reflections???

I went last week (weekday) to the CP store. When I made my appointment on the phone they asked me what kind of dresses I was looking for (specifically) and my budget. When I got there I had to fill out their registry..which once again mentioned budget.

Then the woman shows me all dresses I had no interest in and all over my budget. Even though she ASKED me (3rd time now) what my budget was. I didn't feel like it was a waste of time because I got to see what looked good and didn't look good on me. Just wish I had more say on the dresses that I tried on.

I ended up buying my dress elsewhere Saturday.

I went there (Massapequa) for bridesmaid gowns for a friends wedding. Found a great dress, price of $280. Went to Bridal Gardens in Bethpage, found the same exact dress (same designer) for only $185. Bridal Gardens treated us wonderfully. Bridal Reflections treated us as trash (bc we didnt have an appointment even though when we called they said we didnt need one), and only after we told them that the bride got her dress there did they put a smile on their faces. I would stay away!

I have had nothing but good experiences with both stores. I ordered my dress and my BM dresses from them and both came in in the expected time frame stated. I changed my BM dress 3 times and each time I had no problems.

I am using them and they have been great so far. Bridal Reflections in Massapequa is whom i went with. I used Gloria and she was soooooooooo super sweet. I ordered my dress in July and it should be in in 3 weeks. I am so excited.

I had this experience at Kleinfelds. They showed me dresses that were $3K! My budget was under $2K. When I asked them about dresses in my budget they said, we don't have any...

Re: Bridal Reflections???

For my friends wedding, I found that they were extremely rude to me. I went to the one in Massapequa. They just acted like I was wasting their tiime. They lied to me and told me the bride did not want the BM dresses bustled, but the bride never said any such thing. In fact, it was really difficult to get around that day because there was no bustle. NOw that it is my wedding, i went there out of convenience for my BMs. They were not very nice, they rushed me and treated me like they just didn't care. The only positives, is that they were willing to come down 15 dollars off each BM dress and be equal to what I was quoted at Adrienne's and they were 10 dollars cheaper in alterations. Wherever you wind up ordering your dress, I highly recommend you get some prices from different stores because bridal stores will meet each other's prices. Good luck.
