Bridal Reflections

Original post by OctoberPrincess2006

Sorry this is kinda long, but i needed to vent.

I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place recently and I did not have such a great experience. I had made an appointment to look for a veil & tiara and although at first they were very polite, they just plopped a veil (that I didnt really care for) on top of my head and a tiara, they did not even ask me what style of veil I wanted or anything at all, I felt like a jerk just sitting there with a wedding dress on my lapp, a veil and tiara that didnt go together and no one was there to really help (even though I was assigned a sales woman). The woman in charge of the tiaras that was standing right next to me the whole time was too busy rearranging the table that they were on. My mother and I just decided to leave, it's a shame I was ready to drop some serious cash on a veil & tiara that I liked, but due to their poor customer service skills I decided not to purchase anything at the store.

This was just my opinion and experience with this store, I just needed to vent. It was actually the worst experience I have had with a store or vendor since I began a few months ago with planning my wedding.

Re: Bridal Reflections

I wish people were more honest like this when I had asked for bridal reflection opinions. Everyone wrote in how great they were. I was nervous because I had gone there once and was not happy but the dress that I wanted was there and no where else. When I asked people said how great they were. Idon't think there was one negative comment. Now I am fighting with them to give me my money back on my dress. I wish I had known sooner.

I had a bad experience too as well. The best thing I felt I could do is not spend a dime there.

I am so sorry to hear how many of you had such a horrible experince with them. My mom bought her gown there, I got my BM dresses there and I just ordered my Tiara there from Denise Leli. I have had a WONDERFUL experience with them so far. MY mom's gown just came in and so far so good!
I's unfortunate to hear that so many other brides had a bad time with them. I really have nothing bad to say aout them. We have made a lot of changes and so far...(knock on wood) everything has been correct!!!!!
I didn't purchase my gown there though. i went to Kleinfeld's (WHICH I LOVE!!!!!).

Re: Bridal Reflections

My mom purchased my gown, veil and her dress there.

I must say I was kind of annoyed with them at first when I too made an appointment to try on veils. We were given a young girl who had no clue about veils. I must admit, she did do her best to find the veil I was looking for and she did, I loved my veil however I can totally understand your frustration.

When you have an appointment and are willing to drop some serious cash you should be treated like royalty...EVERY customer should be treated like that regardless how much you are willing to spend even if you are there to browse. You are a customer and should not have been left on the side like that which was very unprofessional of them to do.

Sorry to hear your experience with them was not a pleasant one...If I were you I would call Christine the manager there and explain what has happened.

IMO, they are way over priced and that is fine if you got better service but the service isnt better than lower priced salons

Re: Bridal Reflections

The new Bridal Reflections in NYC, near Penn Station is much better. The people are nicer and more attentive.

Re: Bridal Reflections

I had nothing but great experiences there each and every time I went - which was plenty. My BP was treated with respect as well. As far as the prices go, nobody makes anyone buy something they can't afford. They have been in business forever way before the internet and LIW. If they were that bad, they would have been gone years ago.
