Re: bridal reflections...

My sister got her dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place - loved the dress - but be firm about your budget. The dress they brought out, she tried on and fell in love with was over $800 more than the budge she gave them.

I got my MOH dress there and had absolutely no problems.

Good Luck!

I got my dress at the one in Massapequa, they had dresses more in my price range and were very nice....
the salon in carle place has more expensive dresses and i found them to be a bit snooty.

i had a bad experience - i told them what my budget was, and they only showed me dresses that were at the tippy top - and the woman who was helping me, even though I brought pictures, was not understanding what style i wanted ..

and the dresses in Carle Place start at 3K (the girl at massapequa told me)

I went to the one in Massapequa. They were really really nice. They did stick to my budget for the most part, but did show me some dresses that were totally out of the question for me money wise. However, thy were very nice and helpful. I ended up getting my dress at Lillette's... it was $200.00 cheaper than the one in massapequa for the SAME dress. Check them out...what can you lose???

I got my gown from the BR in Massapequa and they were wonderful.

I had bad experiences at both...If you are looking for an attitude, snotty unprofessional salespeople and jacked up prices either Carle Place or Massapequa should work just fine for you. Personally I would rather just get spit on and pickpocketed. It's quicker and feels just the same.

Personally, I have not had a problem at all at the Carle Place location. I agree though about being firm about your budget, as well as make sure they explain every charge to you so you fully understand. I didn't question some things about the alterations and was a little surprised when it came time for my fittings.

I didn't shop there for a gown, but I can tell you that for BM dresses, they were higher than anywhere else I looked.

I have heard bad things about the one in Massapequa but good things about the carle place location. I went to the carle place location and had a good experience.

Re: bridal reflections...

My sister bought her wedding dress at the Massepequa store a few years ago. When we went in to pick it up, it was a totally different dress than the one she ordered including the color. The store fought my sister on it, however we had pictures of what dress she ordered. After much hasseling (my sister is a lawyer so that helped) they got her the right dress. And since it came in so late she had her final fitting the day before the wedding. Talk about stress. I did not even go looking there because of the whole ordeal.

I got my dress from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. They were wonderful to deal with. No problerms with them and my dress at all. They were very accomodating, actually when I bought my slip for my first fitting and the slip bunched up and did not look right under the dress, the seamstress ZiZi gave me a new slip and took the one I had. No questions asked. Truly were wonderful!

Re: bridal reflections...

I just made an appointment at the one in Massapequa for this saturday for both gowns and bridesmaids dresses... I have mixed feelings now about going there b/c some people had great experiences and others had horrible ones. i guess I'll see for myself.

I have heard mixed reviews about Carle Place....I've heard they can be a lil snooty. (But I never went there myself)

You can take the Wantagh Pkwy...head East and then make a left onto Broadway (there on the corner by the train station)
